Report WGT Dialogue for Inclusion 2018
Young locals and young migrants have practical ideas to work out into local projects and startups and most important of all: they are willing to train, help and support each other, also on long term to realize social inclusion and new future perspective by job creation and employment! That’s why it is essential to bring them together in international Youth Exchange programs and International Dialogues of youngsters and policymakers.
To share vision, ideas and good examples of the projects they undertake and think along about inclusion oriented policy making. To facilitate young locals and young migrants to take action together, OWC (One world Citizens) started building an international network of NGO’s in 2015 to organize Youth Exchanges in which youngsters share ideas about basic needs for better integration and prevention of migration. By which they worked out a local and global program to support project ideas for better integration and prevention of migration. A program that can be organized by & for youngsters locally and can be scaled up globally. Key in this format is Empowerment of Social Entrepreneurship of youngsters, so that all project ideas can be worked out into sustainable projects or startups, to realize a positive, constructive contribution to the important topic of migration in Europe and beyond. The outcome of the Dialogue for Inclusion was shared during the BPE conference Youth Work Impacts Europe that took place in Slovenia on September 2018.
